See you at the polls…Liz

Unfortunately I’m somewhat of a cynic these days, but I will keep my fingers crossed for REAL change…for a change.
Nice to see you posting again, btw! Hope all is well.

Hey our girl is back!
Hi sweetie, hope you had a really good summer. I got in several hikes and out onto the water once in my raft. I had a blast being on the water. I miss it here in the Southwest. Planted a flower and veggie garden and did a lot of nature photography all on top of a massive workload.
It was at first hard to embrace fall’s arrival, but I’ve now accepted it and am looking forward to bulky warm sweaters, bringing in my gourds and drying them by the fireplace, hanging flowers from my garden to dry, picking beans and pumpkins, mulching the garden and later photographing ice crystals along a nearby creek.
I would miss the seasons if they did not exist.
Re: Obama….I too pray for positive change. And I believe it can happen.
Thank you for being YOU!!
Hugs,
Robin
PS Did you do any new art this summer?

I admire you for just trying to ‘inspire’ while staving off heated political debate. Sometimes that gets too ugly on so many blogs. Kudos!

Robin!
I certainly miss talking to you!
Yes, as much as I hate to see the warm weather go, I do appreciate Fall for all its’ beauty and splendor. The colors, the crispness of the air, and yes, Halloween (my favorite holiday) is yet to come.
How appropriate to note within this post the significant, delightful and anticipated changes the seasons bring…for without the seasons and the differences they bring, the world would get (stay) boring, stagnant and stale.
The belief and hope of change is real, we need only believe it!
Thanks for stopping Robin…as usual it is a pleasure to see you.
Take good care,
-liz
ps. Funny you should ask about my art…I am just recently re-inspired..(perhaps it is in the air? I’ll keep you ‘posted’!) -L

Hi 80’s Mom…
Welcome and thank you for stopping!
Yes political conversations can get very ugly very fast.
I feel (as this candidate does) that it’s time we all unite as a nation, overcome differences, a look toward a promising future…
…for this country and for the world.
Thanks again for stopping and I hope to see you again!

I BELIEVE the CHANGE can happen! Our country needs it so much. I’m keeping my fingers crossed to and know that it will be if it’s time.
I enjoyed reading your blog and fresh thoughts with appreciation for nature, beauty and everyday blessings that most don’t see.
Thanks for sharing!

Hi Leslie! Thanks for your comment!
I have been so wrapped up in this election process I have been unable to concentrate on anything else! (as I believe a lot of Americans are).
I’m afraid to breathe easy just yet and can’t wait till Tuesday, but it DOES look like Obama will take it. I certainly hope so!!!
Anyway, don’t forget to vote and together, as a united nation, we CAN make CHANGES that will benefit all people in this wonderful country!!!
“BA-ROCK THE VOTE!!!!”
Thanks for stopping and come back again soon!
